Vicente Garcia Jimenéz was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1978.
With an Engineering Technology degree in Industrial Design from the Faculty of Experimental Science in Castellon de la Plana, he moved to Barcelona to work for Santa & Cole, where he was responsible for the development of lighting and furniture products.
His experience in Barcelona enabled him to put into practice his designing skills and helped model his perception of each object; where colour, texture and material interplay with light and shadow; to give life to his first prototypes.
His overwhelming desire to improve and grow creatively took him to Milan which, after diverse work experience, subsequently led him to Udine.
In 2005 he opened his own studio in Udine. Since then, he has been involved in various projects related to the world of design, art and architecture. His focus is on product design, exhibition design, brand art installations and curator of the art direction for companies.
His works have captured the attention of a specialized market and he has gained recognition by being selected as the best young designer of the year in 2010 by ELLE DECOR, Spanish edition. His installation ‘Infinity’ has also been selected for the ADI DESIGN INDEX 2010.
He collaborates with, amongst others, companies such as Cesar Cucine, Emmebi, Fambuena, Foscarini, Mido, Pallucco Italia o Tacchini.
